The function enables precise indication of individual points of the cloud. It is particularly useful during distance and area measurements or inserting markers, where the accuracy of the measurement depends to a large extent on the precision of the point indication.
When you enable the snap option, a yellow square appears around the point closest to the cursor, indicating the point to which the cursor is currently snapping.
